Lake Atitlan Tour Description

Lake of volcanic origin, the deepest in Central America with approximately 360 meters above sea level, at 1,500 meters above sea level with a temperate climate, surrounded by villages of Mayan roots of the Kaqchiquel, Tzutujil and Quiché groups. A multicultural, multilingual and multiethnic destination.

Surrounded by 3 volcanoes that exceed 3,000 meters above sea level, Atitlan, Toliman and San Pedro, Mayan ceremonial centers and spectacular viewpoints. Its name is of Nahualt origin and means: between the waters.
