Description: Lake Atitlan Tour

It is the deepest lake in Central America with approximately 360 meters above sea level, located in a volcanic caldera called "Los Chocoyos". It is one of the most visited and traditional tourist attractions in Guatemala.

It is surrounded by three volcanoes that exceed 3,000 meters, Atitlan, Toliman and San Pedro, offers a spectacular landscape that fills with wonder the travelers who visit it. Its name is of Nahualt origin and means: among the waters.

It is surrounded by picturesque villages of Mayan origin: Kakchiqueles, Quiches and Tzutujiles where you can enjoy chocolate workshops, coffee tours, natural dye, textile and loom workshops, Mayan bee and honey production tours, Mayan herbalist workshops and Mayan ceremonies. 

It is a multilingual, multicultural and multiethnic destinationlocated 148 km away from Guatemala City, accessible by the Interamerican Highway if you travel through the West, which is the most common tourist route, has a temperate climate and is at an altitude of 1500 meters above sea level.
